Shoolini University has emerged as the 19th best in the world in the prestigious Small Universities Times Higher Education (THE) Rankings 2023. In India, Shoolini has been ranked No.1 Private Small University and 2nd (Overall).

To be eligible for these rankings in the category, universities must appear in THE World University Rankings 2023 and have fewer than 5,000 students. The Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Bengaluru, has been ranked 10th in the world and takes the top spot among all universities ranked in the country. Chancellor Prof PK Khosla said it was a matter of immense pride that Shoolini University has attained the top rank among small private universities in the country. He complimented the faculty and researchers for the achievement.

Associate Professor Lalit Sharma from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences made a significant impact at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference 2023 (AAIC) held in Amsterdam with his Alzheimer’s research. His work on novel compounds that target amyloid beta aggregation was a central focus at the conference, showing potential for slowing down the progression of this neurodegenerative disease.

The conference attracted over 10,000 participants, including researchers, clinicians, and experts worldwide. Among the many presentations, Associate Professor Sharma’s stood out, as he was honoured with a conference fellowship from the Alzheimer’s Association.

The journey commenced with Shoolini University’s prominent presence at the Study India Education Fair in Africa. It was held in Lusaka, Zambia, followed by Harare, Zimbabwe. The university’s booth attracted the attention of more than 400 prospective students, demonstrating the appeal of educational opportunities in India.

Taking Shoolini University’s mission to strengthen academic ties forward, Prof Dwivedi visited two key institutions in Zambia and Zimbabwe.
